We welcome all people with a link to Darley Dene to join us.

Family Dynamos 

Building on the amazing work of our pupil Dynamos, our Family Dynamos are formed of parents and carers from our community. This group plays a vital role in strengthening the partnership between home and school, acting as the collective voice of the families within our community. 

Family Dynamos provides valuable opportunities for parents and carers to connect with one another, forming new friendships and strengthening the sense of community beyond the school gates. 

Part of our Family Dynamos are our Class Representatives, who are responsible for creating class WhatsApp  groups, where reminders are shared with parents and carers.  This is also a great way for parents to build new friendships. If you are unsure of who your class rep is, please speak to your child's class teacher. 

Fundraising 

Working alongside staff and pupils, Family Dynamos support our pupils to thrive by offering activities that enhance their social experiences and provide memorable moments that contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.  These events are an important part of school life and aim to inspire a sense of belonging and pride within our community. 

Our Family Dynamos help raise money for our school, which is spent on resources, equipment, and extracurricular experiences that enrich school life for our children. 

The Family Dynamos meet once every half-term to discuss current topics and collaboratively plan fundraising events. All parents and carers are welcome to join. 

Previous events have included the Queen of Hearts Ball, Christmas Movie Night, Summer Disco and Easter Crafts Afternoon.
