What we have been learning about

23/10/25

What a fantastic half term it’s been! Everyone has worked so hard, and the challenge now is to keep up this brilliant effort throughout the year. This week, we have been writing our own setting descriptions, and the children have impressed us with their use of amazing expanded noun phrases. In maths, we’ve been focusing on multiplying numbers with increasing confidence and accuracy. Across our wider curriculum, the children have enjoyed exploring artists inspired by Black History Month, producing thoughtful and creative work.

Well done, Year 6 - we’re so proud of you all. Have a wonderful half-term break!

17/10/25

A huge well done to Year 6 for completing their first mock SATs week! We are incredibly proud of the resilience, focus, and positive attitude they have shown throughout - everyone gave it their best effort and should feel very proud of themselves.

In the wider curriculum, Year 6 have been busy investigating the diversity of living things. As part of our science work, the children explored different areas of the playground to observe how various environments support different types of life. It was fantastic to see such curiosity and teamwork in action!

Keep up the brilliant work, Year 6 - your effort and enthusiasm are really shining through!
