How do I know if school is closed for bad weather?
In the event of inclement weather or any other such emergency where school needs to close (with some warning), you will be able to find this information out the following ways:
- Through our 'Ticker Tape' which scrolls along the top of the 'Home' section of this webpage. To get to this just click on the Darley Dene logo. Refresh the webpage regularly as sometimes messages are not updated if you do not.

We will also endeavour to place signs on the school gates if possible.
Updates about each day will be posted on these platforms as soon as practicably possible.
The decision is not taken lightly but in some cases is necessary in order to keep children and staff safe.
