Freemantles Outreach offers a range of courses to support children with autism.  Their resource page also offers a range of ideas for supporting with social stories through sensory needs and learning at home.

Sensory Circuits
Sensory circuits are a great way to support children's sensory needs. The document below named 'Sensory Circuits' provides some ideas you can try at home.

Zones of Regulation
To support understanding our feelings we use Zones of Regulation in school. The children are used to identifying their feelings and saying which zone they are in. They then decide what they can do to get back into the green/ good to go zone using a range of strategies. Our attached 'Zones of Regulation' document will help you if you would like to use this tool at home to support your child's emotional regulation. 

Visual timetables
Visuals and timetables can be very useful to help support a child's understanding and to provide structure in their routines. The attached documents 'Timetable blank' and 'Timetable pictures' may help you and your child.
